new year

It is now a new year. Working on lots of projects. One day will post pictures. I sure enjoy reading other people's blogs, and have probably over a hundred saved to favorites. Just never take time to write on mine.
Will try to do better.

March madness

Not much going on this March. Went to the LQS to their third Saturday bom party. Lots of new things to show. Several new kits. Picked up the mini monthly and my bom.
Husband had gone 4 wheeler playing all day. Came home alittle worse for wear. Alittle injured, not too bad. Just bruised and thumbnail injured.
Today hopefully will work on invoices from last year, and get caught up soon. Tax season is upon us and winding down fast.
Better hop to something.

I saw on someone's blog about a retreat, and thought I should write about one I went to last weekend. It was put on by Loose Threads out of Seymour. It was wonderful. I got so much done. I'll have to get the camera out and take some pictures. I love the retreats. Everyone helps each other, and we have such a good place to sew and cut. Lots of good light. We eat right there in the same area, so we don't have to mosey too far. Most stay the night which is just up the lane alittle ways. I didn't stay the night this time. I only live 10 min. away, and that way I could open the store and get it going for the other girls. It is usually a grand time had by all.

So if you every have an opportunity to go to a retreat. Try to go. They are great in every way.

First day of blogging

We'll see how this goes. How consistent I can be. Other people's blogs are so interesting and creative. Hope mine will be.
Today is grocery day at Denny's Grocery, so a busy day ahead. And looks like there are alot of boxes in there to be put away.
I also would like to add pictures of my projects today or tomorrow. So hopefully I can get that done and post them on here.
